Internal Conflict Within Armed Criminal Group (KKB) Escalates: Egianus Kogoya Attacks Sebi Sambom's Headquarters

Papua - A long-standing feud between Sebi Sambom, spokesperson for the Armed Criminal Group (KKB), and Egianus Kogoya, leader of the Undius Kogoya Group, has reached a boiling point. The conflict stems from a struggle for influence and resources in the mountainous regions of Papua, leading to Egianus Kogoya's dissatisfaction with Sebi Sambom.

Egianus Kogoya accuses Sebi Sambom of unfair distribution of the spoils from their activities. Sebi Sambom, known as the spokesperson for the KKB, is accused of not sharing the "money" with Egianus Kogoya and his group.

This has sparked anger from Egianus Kogoya, who stated, "Sebi Sambom has long been unfair and non-transparent in managing the resources and funds we obtain. He has ignored us and the Undius Kogoya group in the distribution of profits. We demand justice and transparency. This attack is our form of protest against the injustice we have experienced. We will not stand idly by and will continue to fight for our rights."

As a form of protest and retaliation, the Undius Kogoya Group led by Egianus Kogoya attacked Sebi Sambom's headquarters. This attack marks an escalation of the long-standing conflict and indicates a rift within the KKB.

The feud raises serious questions about transparency and accountability in the management of funds and resources within the KKB. Additionally, the conflict exposes the imbalance of power and influence among the KKB leaders.

This incident is worrisome because the escalation of internal conflict within the KKB could hinder peace efforts and disrupt security stability in Papua. Authorities need to intervene in this conflict immediately and seek a peaceful solution to resolve the dispute between the two parties.
