Quoted from the Free West Papua Facebook page, Egianus Kogoya congratulated the Susi Air pilot, Captain Philips Mertenz, on being confirmed as a citizen of Nduga.
"We have the same religion, we are Christians so we cannot kill each other, that is our rule in our struggle, God also looks at us, our ancestors and bones and ancestral nature also look at us, so this pilot, we do not kill. This pilot has be our person," said Egianus.
Egianus again revealed that the pilots were in good health and had never experienced hunger, because they always had food.
"Where there is a community garden, that is our garden, where there are pigs belonging to the community, that is also ours, here we have the power to take what belongs to the community, the community is afraid of us, if they resist, we shoot them. So when it comes to food, we have it, the pilots are never hungry , we continued to eat together, said Egianus.
Egianus also advised that, within a certain time, he would release the pilot to Papua New Guinea (PNG) and from there, the pilot would go home and celebrate Christmas in Zew Zealand. Merry Christmas Pilot, said Egianus' message.
