Sugapa- The leader of the Papua Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in the Intan Jaya area, Undius Kogoya, admitted that the 7 KKB members he led were shot by weapons from joint TNI-Polri officers during a firefight from 19 to 23 January 2024.
“It is true that there was a battle between our group KKB and the joint TNI-Polri apparatus. In this battle, I admit that 7 of my KKB members were shot by the authorities. Five of our KKB members have died, while two other people have suffered serious injuries. This is the truth that I must convey.” he said in a sad tone as his informant demonstrated his style of speaking.
Undius Kogoya said again, the names of the KKB members who died were *Oni Kobogau, Yusak Sondegau, Zakius Sondegau, Melkias Matani alias Harisatu Nambagani, and Agusti.* Meanwhile two other members, namely *Jaringan Belau and Kanus Kogoya,* were seriously injured and is being cared for by our KKB members.
